Fund Nhat Commune, Ninh Binh Province is a locality that suffered heavy losses in human lives and property due to the impact of Storm No. 10 (storm Bualoi).
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, these days, many houses with unroofed roofs here have mostly been repaired; the collapsed houses have been completely rebuilt and are entering the completion stage.
Suffering the damage of the storm, the level 4 house of Ms. Trinh Thi Soi's family (born in 1952, residing in Quynh Nhat commune) completely collapsed, her husband, Mr. Nguyen Van K, died on the spot, Ms. Soi was seriously injured and had to be treated at the hospital. However, after nearly 2 months, thanks to the support of the Ministry of Public Security and the People's Committee of Ninh Binh province, the 45m2 flat-roofed house was built to replace the collapsed house of Mrs. Soi's family, which is gradually being completed.
Also supported to rebuild a house that collapsed due to natural disasters, Mr. Luong Van Khuyenh (born in 1945, residing in Quy Nhat commune) said: "My house was completely collapsed so it is eligible for support to rebuild. My family's new house has an area of 50m2, built solidly. My wife and I are old, we do not have the economy, we are very happy to have such support. Thank you to the government for helping us".
Currently, many families have completed the damage repair. The Fatherland Front Committee of Fund Nhat commune is coordinating with relevant departments and branches to complete procedures to promptly disburse funding to support the construction and repair of houses for people.
Previously, in the early morning of September 29, thunderstorms appeared in 7 communes in Ninh Binh province, killing 9 people, injuring 49 people, completely collapsing 24 houses, hundreds of houses had their roofs blown off and damaged.
To support affected households to soon repair and repair their houses and stabilize their lives, the Ministry of Public Security has decided to support 24 households whose houses were completely collapsed to rebuild new houses, each household 60 million VND; Ninh Binh province has provided each household with an additional 100 million VND. In addition, businesses and philanthropists also joined hands to help with funding.
