Previously, at around 11:45 a.m. on October 22, in the coastal area of Tran Phu Park (opposite Maple Hotel), a male Russian tourist, about 50 years old, was swept away by large waves into deep water.
Discovering the drowning victim, the friend who accompanied her and the rescue team of Nha Trang Bay Management Board quickly approached and brought the victim to shore.
At this time, the victim had stopped breathing and stopped breathing, the rescue team urgently responded and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
After many minutes of emergency efforts by the rescue team's staff, the victim's heart rate returned, he could breathe again and gradually regained consciousness. Immediately afterwards, the rescue team of Nha Trang Bay Management Board transferred the victim to the hospital for further monitoring.
According to the leader of the Rescue and Rescue Team, this is the second case this week that rescue forces have promptly rescued a drowning victim while swimming in the sea.
