Ha Tinh - Many veterans and former youth volunteers when coming to offer incense at the National Special Historical Relic Site of Nga ba Dong Loc were all moved to tears.

On July 25, according to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, thousands of people and tourists from all directions came to offer incense at the National Special Historical Relic Site of Nga Ba Dong Loc, to celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026).

Participating in offering incense with the delegation of former youth volunteers (TNXP) of Company 557 - P18 (under General Team TNXP 55 Ha Tinh), Mr. Nguyen Huu Thin (75 years old, residing in Hung Nguyen commune, Nghe An province) shared: "I am very touched to reunite today with my brothers and old comrades to offer incense in gratitude to the heroic martyrs, including 10 female youth volunteers of Nga ba Dong Loc".

Mr. Thin recounted that when he was in his twenties, he went to TNXP to participate in repairing traffic roads on many key routes. Fierce bombs and bullets, many comrades sacrificed, he himself survived to this day and was too lucky.

Therefore, while alive, he is still always grateful and grateful to his comrades and heroic martyrs who have contributed and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

As a former Youth Volunteer of Company 557 - P18, Ms. Phan Thi Quyet (75 years old, residing in Cam Xuyen commune, Ha Tinh province) said that she went to Youth Volunteers from 1972 - 1975.

Those days were arduous and very poor. Being able to live to enjoy peace, independence, freedom and a warm and prosperous life like today is too lucky. It's a pity for the comrades who sacrificed and did not witness the changes and development of our country today," Ms. Quyet shared.

Among the thousands of people who came to express gratitude and offer incense at the National Special Historical Relic Site of Nga ba Dong Loc, there are also many veterans from all over the country.

Participating in the delegation of veterans from Hue City to offer incense, veteran Le Van Tho (78 years old, residing in Dien Loc commune, Hue City) said that he was very touched when offering incense to express gratitude to 10 female youth volunteers at Nga ba Dong Loc.

Mr. Tho said that as a veteran who has gone through many fierce battles, saving his life is the luckiest and most precious thing. Therefore, he deeply understands, acknowledges, and appreciates the contributions and sacrifices of comrades, of many heroic martyrs.

I hope generations of children and grandchildren will forever remember the merits of the heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. In peace, cherish time, live meaningfully, and always strive to contribute to building the homeland and country to become increasingly rich and strong," veteran Le Van Tho shared.

From the beginning of July to now, every day, this place welcomes about 3,000 - 4,000 people and tourists to offer incense and flowers to show gratitude to the heroic martyrs.
