The Steering Committee for organizing the commemorative activities has agreed on many special programs, combining cultural, historical and social activities to honor this important event.
One of the highlights of the celebration will be the parade held on the morning of March 29, 2025, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the city's liberation.
The celebration will include displays of armed forces, parades, and cultural performances.
On the evening of March 28, 2025, Da Nang will organize a boat parade on the Han River and flower cars, promising to bring a joyful and exciting atmosphere to celebrate this important event.
The city will organize fireworks displays at three special locations on the evening of March 29, 2025. The selected fireworks display locations include Bach Dang Street Square (Hai Chau District), in front of the Lien Chieu District Administrative Center and the resettlement area of the Western Belt Road (Hoa Vang District).
Also within the framework of the commemorative activities, Da Nang will support the construction of 100 solidarity houses for poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances in the revolutionary base area of Quang Nam - Da Nang during the resistance war from the city budget; support funding for the construction of traditional houses and memorial stele of the Women's Union of Liberation Zone 5.
Da Nang City supports residential groups and villages in the city to organize a national festival to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the city's liberation, with a level of 7 million VND/residential group and 10 million VND/village.
In addition, the City People's Committee will support 5 billion VND to renovate and upgrade the national historical relic Quang Da Special Zone Party Committee Base in Hon Tau (Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam); invest in flower decoration and lighting to celebrate Tet and major holidays and anniversaries in 2025.
