On June 24, the People's Committee of Da Nang City issued a decision on investment policy for the Le Thanh Nghi - Cach Mang Thang Tam - Thang Long - approach road project to Hoa Xuan bridge (Hoa Xuan bridge intersection).
The project investment goal is to complete the traffic technical infrastructure network, solving traffic congestion in the intersection cluster during rush hour.
According to the decision, Hoa Xuan Bridge will be kept in its original state, a new bridge will be built and expanded downstream of the old bridge, and an architectural plan will be considered in the next steps.
At the intersection cluster on the Hoa Cuong ward side, a tunnel will be arranged on Cach Mang Thang Tam street and a service road on both sides of the tunnel; a tunnel will be arranged on Thang Long street and a service road on both sides of the tunnel.
In addition, Le Thanh Nghi Street will be expanded towards the park land (from Le No Street to the beginning of Hoa Xuan Bridge), Do Xu Bridge will be expanded towards Khue Trung Lake, and a right turn from Le Thanh Nghi to Cach Mang Thang Tam Street on the shore of Khue Trung Lake will be arranged.
At the intersection cluster on the Hoa Xuan ward side, a riverside route will be invested under Hoa Xuan bridge, connecting from Giang Huong 1 street to Ton That Duong Ky street. Reorganize traffic within the button. New technical infrastructure such as water supply and drainage, lighting, 110kV, 22kV, and 0.4kV power lines, wastewater drainage, communication systems and other related technical infrastructure will be relocated and built.
This is a group B transport project, with a total investment of more than 1,571 billion VND from the Da Nang City budget. In which, the project is divided into two component projects: site clearance (GPMB) and technical infrastructure construction.
The land acquisition part is invested by the Da Nang City Land Fund Development Center, implemented from 2025 - 2029. The total investment of this joint venture is more than 129 billion VND.
The investment in the construction of the project's technical infrastructure will be invested by the Da Nang City Traffic and Agricultural Construction Project Management Board. The implementation period is from 2025 to 2029. The total investment of this component is more than 1,441 billion VND.
