On May 1, Dai Binh Prison under Department C10 of the Ministry of Public Security, located in Loc Thanh Commune (Bao Lam District, Lam Dong) held a ceremony to announce the President's decision to grant amnesty in 2025 to prisoners serving prison sentences.
The amnesty on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
Mr. Vo Ngoc Hiep - Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee - attended and presented the amnesty decision to the prisoners.

At the ceremony, Colonel Phung Van Hue - Warden of Dai Binh Prison - announced the President's decision to pardon 100 prisoners in 2025.
Of which, the prisoners are granted amnesty for the remaining time serving the maximum prison sentence of nearly 53 months in prison, at least 21 days.
All prisoners granted amnesty this time have undergone good reformation, strictly complied with discipline, rules and regulations during the sentence; at the same time, have remedied compensation for damages and been classified as having achieved a good or better level of emulation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Vo Ngoc Hiep emphasized that early amnesty for criminals is a lenient and humane policy of the Party, State and the humane tradition of the nation.
Mr. Vo Ngoc Hiep also encouraged those who were granted amnesty after returning to their localities, their families to quickly integrate with the community; strictly comply with the provisions of the law, strive to become good citizens, useful to their families and society.
He also requested Party committees, authorities and organizations at all levels and social organizations to pay attention, regularly encourage, help and create jobs for those who have been granted amnesty, helping them soon stabilize their lives and integrate with the community, becoming good citizens.
On this occasion, Dai Binh Prison also launched an emulation movement for prisoners who have not been granted amnesty; at the same time, encouraged prisoners to feel secure in their ideology, strive to reform, and comply with regulations to soon enjoy leniency policies of the Party and State.
The prisoners who received the amnesty decision expressed their joy and emotion at the humane and lenient policies of the Party and State; at the same time, they promised to practice, cultivate, and strive to become good citizens, useful to their families and society.
