On July 22, the Party Committee of Quang Truc commune, Lam Dong province held the 13th Congress, term 2025 - 2030 with the participation of 150 official delegates.
According to the report, in the 2020 - 2025 term, the Quang Truc Commune Party Committee has basically achieved and exceeded 10/11 targets and 2 focus stages, 2 breakthroughs set by the resolution.
The economic growth rate is quite good. Total budget revenue reached nearly 44 billion VND. The total investment capital is estimated at 1,008 billion VND.
The commune has met 15/19 criteria on new rural areas (an increase of 3 criteria compared to the previous term).
To date, the whole commune still has 624 poor households (accounting for 21.3%), of which poor local ethnic minority households account for 33.95%.
National defense and security work has been strengthened; maintaining stability in the political situation, security, order, social safety, and border security.
Party building work is considered a key task. In the past term, the entire Party Committee admitted 39 Party members, bringing the total number of Party members in the commune to 249 Party members.
The Fatherland Front and mass organizations promote the strength of the great solidarity bloc, innovate methods of operation, actively participate in local movements, and contribute to timely resolution of social problems.
In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Quang Truc Commune Party Committee has determined to build a commune for comprehensive development, a strong border commune in terms of national defense and security, gradually meeting new rural standards; developing agriculture and forestry associated with OCOP products and community tourism...
At the same time, the locality identified 2 breakthroughs and 15 specific targets to focus on implementation.
The Congress strives for an average growth rate in the 2025 - 2030 period from 10 - 11%; total state budget revenue increases by an average of 9-10%/year; the multidimensional poverty rate decreases by an average of 4%/year.
By 2030, the commune will meet new rural standards; average income per capita will reach 45-50 million VND. Every year, 90% of grassroots party organizations and 90% of party members are evaluated and classified as having completed their tasks well.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Luu Van Trung, Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Truc commune in the past term.
The Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee noted that the Quang Truc Commune Party Committee needs to strongly promote its advantages, overcome shortcomings, and perfect a streamlined, efficient, and close-to-the-people government apparatus.
Party committees and authorities must consider the people as the center, subject and goal of all activities, working with the spirit of "near the people, understanding the people, caring for the people," and taking the people's satisfaction as a measure of the level of task completion.
In particular, cadres and party members of the commune need to change their thinking in implementing the tasks that Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh pointed out at the Party Congress of Don Duong Commune (Lam Dong).
