The Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee has just proposed that the Ministry of Construction consider and hand over to the locality for management of the Ho Chi Minh route (National Highway 14) through Buon Ma Thuot City.
This is a vital route of the province, the demand for travel and trade of goods is very high.
In particular, the section passing through Buon Ma Thuot City has a very high volume and density of vehicles participating in traffic.
Assigning the locality to manage the road section will help the locality be more proactive in repair, maintenance and traffic organization, and renovation in a synchronous manner, in accordance with the actual situation.
According to the latest report of the Department of Construction, Dak Lak province is currently assigned to manage 5 national highways passing through the province, with a total length of nearly 469 km.
National Highway 26, 91 km long; National Highway 14C, 98.5 km long; National Highway 19C, 26.5 km long; National Highway 27, 88 km long and National Highway 29, nearly 165 km long.
