On November 5, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee is continuing to request localities to urgently deploy response plans to storm No. 13 Kalmaegi and floods when natural disasters occur.
In the eastern area of the province (coastal area), Phu Yen General Hospital has developed a plan to respond to storm No. 13, at the same time proposing measures to ensure safety for patients being treated and being ready to receive and provide emergency care to people in accidents caused by storms.
The hospital has established 2 emergency teams including an on-site team and a mobile team to support people when needed.

Mr. Huynh Le Xuan Bich - Deputy Director of the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Health - said: "The Department has directed affiliated units and the grassroots health system to seriously implement the inspection and protection of people, machinery and equipment. At the same time, be ready to provide emergency care, treat patients, prepare enough medicine and medical supplies to support people when natural disasters occur".
According to the investigation, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) of Dak Lak province had a working session with the fire prevention and fighting and rescue forces at facility 2 to be ready to support people in disaster areas when necessary.
At the same time, the health sector also implemented disease prevention and control measures during the storm season; instructed people to proactively handle pollution, clean the environment, and protect public health.
Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan emphasized: "The province will prevent and combat natural disasters with the motto " proactive early, from afar", anticipating the worst scenarios to implement preventive measures, ensuring absolute safety for people's lives, not being passive or surprised in any situation".
