Dak Nong proactively implements streamlining and reorganization according to Resolution 18 of the Central Government. This province will reduce 20% of the number of employees receiving salaries from the budget within 5 years.

On January 6, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Dak Nong province, said that the locality is implementing Resolution 18-NQ/TW, according to the roadmap.

Currently, the province has not yet counted the number of officials and civil servants affected by the restructuring and streamlining of the apparatus.

However, the Department of Home Affairs is in charge of advising the Provincial People's Committee on a roadmap to reduce 20% of the number of employees receiving salaries from the budget within a 5-year term.

The province will create the best conditions for policy implementation for cadres, civil servants and public employees.

Previously, the Dak Nong Provincial Party Executive Committee held a thematic conference on Party building and organization work.

The conference thoroughly grasped the documents of the Central Committee, especially Official Dispatch No. 2019, dated December 12, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee on merging, consolidating, and terminating the activities of a number of Party organizations, agencies, and units.

Dak Nong plans to establish two Party Committees (Party Committee of Provincial Party Agencies, Mass Organizations, and Judiciary; Party Committee of Provincial Government Bloc); merge 12 agencies and units; end the operations of a number of specialized agencies...

Thus, after the arrangement, Dak Nong is expected to reduce 13 party organizations, agencies and units.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requires that the arrangement and assignment of cadres, especially leaders in merged units, must be truly fair, objective, public, transparent, and absolutely free of negativity and group interests.

The arrangement and assignment of staff must be based on the assessment of specific work and products for consideration of arrangement; linking the results of the head with the results of the agency and unit recognized by competent authorities.

Cadres who are assigned work must comply with the Party's assignment, for the common development of the industry, agency, unit and province...
