Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee - Mr. Ho Van Muoi has directed relevant units to focus on speeding up the progress of public investment projects. Dak Nong is determined to complete 3 key projects before merging the province.
The projects include: Gia Nghia City Central Square, upgrading Dak Nong Provincial General Hospital and upgrading Provincial Road 3.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi emphasized the importance of consensus from the people in site clearance (GPMB).
He called on people to create favorable conditions so that authorities can quickly implement projects.
"These are not only projects that promote socio-economic development but also have great political significance for Dak Nong," said Mr. Muoi.
According to Mr. Muoi, there is not much time left and it is required that relevant units immediately resolve problems in site clearance.
"If the site clearance is not completed before July 1, the projects will face many difficulties when they are abandoned at the district level," Mr. Muoi directed.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested contractors to increase human and material resources to speed up the construction progress.
"We work day and night. Taking advantage of favorable weather to construct immediately, Mr. Muoi emphasized.
However, he also noted that the quality of the project must be given top priority, not letting progress affect the quality.
Regarding the Dak Nong General Hospital Upgrade project, Mr. Ha Sy Son - Director of the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board said that he had warned twice about the slow progress.
In 2025, this project is allocated 270 billion VND. To date, the project has disbursed nearly 19 billion VND, reaching 6.7% of the plan.
The management board requires the contractor to mobilize human resources and materials to compensate for the delay.
Mr. Le Bao Anh, General Director of Construction Company No. 1 - JSC, contractor of the Dak Nong Provincial General Hospital Upgrade project, said that the company will be responsible for the progress.
He said that the project is facing difficulties due to the import of machinery and equipment from many places in the world, which takes a lot of time.
However, he committed that by July 15, 2025, the equipment will be available at the construction site. At that time, the contractor will speed up the completion of the project.
