Through the incident, the Traffic Police Department recommends that drivers must keep speed and safe distance when driving on the road. If there is an incident on the highway, it is necessary to immediately report it to the authorities and place a safety warning device.
"The highway is where vehicles travel at high speeds - at least 60km/h and at most 80 - 120km/h, so it is very likely that serious accidents will occur if there are unexpected obstacles on the road. Therefore, when the vehicle has to stop urgently due to an accident, accident, or run out of fuel, there needs to be a warning signal from a distance, so that other drivers can proactively slow down and change lanes, avoiding consecutive accidents," said a representative of the Traffic Police Department.
According to the representative of the Traffic Police Department, the first thing when the vehicle has an accident is for the driver to turn on the emergency lights, then try to bring the vehicle into the emergency lane; for small vehicles, the vehicle should be pushed to the right side of the road.
"In addition to turning on emergency lights, it is necessary to place dangerous warning items, such as reflective triangles, hat-shaped tieu tieu co... to attract the attention of other drivers. Drivers should place dangerous warning objects at least 150m from the vehicle and, if possible, arrange the hat-shaped markers to form a mobile barrier, so that other vehicles do not crash into the area where the vehicle is having an accident," the representative of the Traffic Police Department instructed.
According to the representative of the Traffic Police Department, to ensure safety, when the vehicle has an accident, everyone should leave the vehicle, move to the back of the road railing or the area as far as possible from the lane.
Currently, the Traffic Police Department is using No. 1900 8099 to receive information from people about the situation of traffic order, safety, traffic accidents or need support to handle incidents arising when traveling on highways. The switchboard helps people connect directly with the traffic police scene, promptly supporting situations arising on the road.
