On the evening of November 26, according to information from the Traffic Police Department, Lang Son Provincial Police, a particularly serious traffic accident occurred on National Highway 1A, causing 4 people to die on the spot and 2 people to be seriously injured.
The accident occurred at 12:38 at Km 42+600, National Highway 1, passing through Hop Nhat village, Nhan Ly commune, Lang Son province.
At that time, a tractor-trailer with license plate 98S-000.22, pulling a trailer 98R-012.92 driven by driver P.V.D (born in 1981, residing in Viet Tien, Viet Yen, Bac Ninh) in the direction of Hanoi - Lang Son collided with a car with license plate 19A-483.13 driven by driver L.Q.N (born in 1993, residing in Thuong Tin, Hanoi) in the opposite direction.

Also on the car were 5 people, including P.V.H (born in 2004), P.V.K (born in 1969) and T.T.L (1973, all residing in Loc Binh commune, Lang Son); N.D.V (born in 1985) and N.T.U.S (born in 1984, all residing in the Thuong Tin Central Mental Hospital Complex, Hanoi)
The extremely strong collision deformed the car, resulting in 4 victims including P.V.K, T.T.L, N.D.V and N.T.U.S dying on the spot.
According to the leader of Loc Binh Commune People's Committee, the two victims P.V.K and T.T.L were a couple.
Drivers L.Q.N and P.V.H were seriously injured and were taken to the Chi Lang Regional Medical Center for emergency treatment by the authorities.
According to the initial investigation of the traffic police force, the cause was determined to be driver L.Q.N driving the car in the wrong direction, leading to a collision with a tractor-trailer traveling in the opposite direction.
Immediately after the accident, the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police mobilized forces to protect the scene and direct traffic on National Highway 1A - the main route through Chi Lang; at the same time, coordinated with the Investigation Police Agency to examine the scene and collect evidence to clarify the cause of the incident.
