Dak Lak - The investor proposed to coordinate the remaining material reserves at the 6B village quarry to serve the component 3 project of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway.

On 11.5, information from the Project Management Board of Construction of Transport and Rural Development works in the province (representative of the investor of the component project component) said that the unit has proposed the Department of Agriculture and Environment to research, consider and advise the Provincial People's Committee to approve the remaining residual reserves at Village 6B quarry (Joint Stock Company 484) to serve the construction of component project.

The permitted exploitation capacity of the mine in village 6B, Ea Pan commune, Ea Kar district to serve the construction of component project 2 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway is 1,180,000m3 (oreign stone). Meanwhile, the total demand for raw stone to serve component project 2 is about 926,000m3, with a surplus of 254,000m3.

Thus, this quarry is enough to meet the construction materials of the Component 2 and 3 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway project.

The Provincial Traffic Construction Investment and Rural Development Project Management Board (component project investor 3) said that the demand for materials for the project is about 1.4 million m3 of various types of stone, 0.4 million m3 of sand and 1.4 million m3 of fill soil.

The ability to supply construction materials for the project faces many difficulties due to passive mining and production, especially stone of all kinds. This greatly affects the progress of items such as foundation, foundation, and road surface.

Although some contractors have been proactive in using commercial materials. However, the exploitation capacity of mines in the province does not meet the huge demand of the project.

Up to now, for stone quarries that have met the conditions for exploitation, the investor is directing contractors to increase exploitation work, strengthen the stone material production line to soon supply enough for the project.

The land mine in Ea Kenh commune, Krong Pac district has completed the site review so that the specialized agency can advise the Provincial People's Committee on land lease procedures, ensuring sufficient conditions to organize exploitation to serve the construction of the project.

The Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project Phase 1 is divided into three components. Of which, component 1 is 31.5km long managed by Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, component 2 is nearly 37km long implemented by the Ministry of Transport, and component 3 is over 48km long and invested by Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee.

The project has a scale of four lanes, with a total investment of nearly 22,000 billion VND. The starting point is at the intersection between National Highway 26B and National Highway 1, Nam Van Phong port area (Khanh Hoa), the end point connects with Ho Chi Minh Road, the section avoiding the East of Buon Ma Thuot city.
