The Ministry of Construction advises the Government on drafting a Decree on administrative sanctions for violations in the road sector. The draft stipulates that the Director of the Vietnam Road Administration has the right to:
Warning fine.
Fine up to VND 75,000,000 for violations in the road sector.
revoking the right to use a license or practice certificate for a period of time or suspending operations for a period of time.
Confiscate the exhibits and means used to commit administrative violations.
Apply remedial measures.

Using and temporarily exploiting land in road safety corridors for agricultural purposes that affects road safety and traffic safety.
Planting trees within the land area for road infrastructure obscures the view of vehicle operators.
Constructing welcome gates or other barriers in violation of regulations within the land area for road infrastructure that affects road traffic safety.
Illegally placing banners and banners within the road's land area affects road traffic safety.
Place and hang signs and advertising signs on road land in suburban roads.
Illegally using road soil on suburban roads as a place to repair vehicles, machinery, and equipment; washing vehicles, pumping water into hoods, affecting road traffic safety.
Illegal dumping and leaving of materials and waste within the land area for road infrastructure.
Arbitrarily digging, filling, leveling, or filling the ground within the land area reserved for road infrastructure.
Arbitrarily attaching to the road signboard content that is not related to the meaning and purpose of the road.
Illegally using road land or road safety corridors as a place to gather or transit goods, supplies, construction materials, machinery, equipment, and other items.

Illegal connection to main roads and branch roads.
Violations of regulations on construction, management, operation, exploitation and maintenance of technical infrastructure works used together with roads such as:
Construction of technical infrastructure works used together with roads not in accordance with approved design documents or not in accordance with construction permits.
Do not hand over the dossier for the completion of technical infrastructure works for shared use with roads to the road management agency.
Management, operation, exploitation and maintenance of technical infrastructure works used together with roads affecting road safety, road traffic safety or hindering road maintenance work.
Do not relocate or dismantle common-use technical infrastructure works when requested by the manager or user of the road project to invest, build, upgrade, expand and maintain the road project.
Some violations of regulations on training road traffic safety inspectors.
Violation of regulations on construction and maintenance of works within the land area reserved for road infrastructure.
Violation of regulations on management, exploitation, maintenance and protection of road traffic infrastructure.
Violations of construction of bus stations, parking lots, rest stops, road stops, road toll stations, vehicle weight control works.
