On June 11, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Duc - Head of the Tax Department of Region X signed a decision on temporary suspension of Mr. Duong Van H., civil servant of the Vinh Loc - Thach Thanh Inter-district Tax Team.
Accordingly, Mr. H. was temporarily suspended from work for 15 days (from June 11 to July 1). During the temporary suspension, Mr. H. must comply with the regimes according to regulations.
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on June 11, a clip appeared on social media recording the image of an officer believed to be from the Vinh Loc - Thach Thanh District Tax Team (Thanh Hoa) with inappropriate behavior and words towards the people.
The clip recorded a scene of a resident coming to the Vinh Loc - Thach Thanh Tax Team to handle administrative procedures. However, due to difficulties in the work process, this person used his phone to record the incident. After that, a fierce argument broke out between the tax officer and the people, even the two shouted 'there is no other choice but me'.
