    Tuyen Quang - A bottom discharge gate of Tuyen Quang hydropower reservoir was closed at 4 pm this afternoon.

    The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has just issued Official Dispatch No. 7584/CD-BNNMT on closing the bottom discharge gate of Tuyen Quang hydropower reservoir.

    According to the telegram, at 7:00 AM on July 13, the upstream water level of Tuyen Quang Lake was at an elevation of 105.02m; downstream water level was 52.05m; water inflow to the lake was 569m3/s, total inflow to the downstream was 1,234m3/s.

    Implementing the Inter-reservoir Operation Procedure on the Red River basin, the Minister of Agriculture and Environment ordered the Director of Tuyen Quang Hydropower Company to close one bottom discharge gate of Tuyen Quang hydropower reservoir at 4:00 PM on July 13.

    Tuyen Quang Hydropower Company organizes a close monitoring of rain and flood developments, the safety of works, water flow to reservoirs, upstream and downstream water levels of reservoirs; promptly report to the Ministry and relevant agencies according to regulations.
