Information from the Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) on December 31 said that from December 27-31, this unit has continued to energize and put into operation 10 more 110kV power grid projects in the provinces of Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Can Tho, Hau Giang, Soc Trang, etc., contributing to promptly meeting the growing demand for electricity consumption in the localities.
In Binh Phuoc province, on December 28 and 30, EVNSPC successfully energized two projects "Increasing the capacity of Chon Thanh 110kV Substation from 2x40MVA to 2x63MVA" phase 2 and Hoa Lu 110kV Substation Project (Loc Ninh district, Binh Phuoc province).
By increasing the capacity of the 10kV Chon Thanh transformer station from 2x40MVA to 2x63MVA, after completion, the project will contribute to improving the reliability of power supply to industrial parks in Chon Thanh town, Hon Quan district and neighboring areas of Binh Duong province. Meanwhile, with a total investment of 103 billion VND, the 110kV Hoa Lu transformer station project, when put into operation, will not only have great significance in meeting the increasing demand for electricity in the area and neighboring areas, but also contribute to ensuring national defense and security, serving the daily life of people in border areas; promoting the socio-economic development of Binh Phuoc province as well as the border area.
In Binh Duong province, on December 30, EVNSPC also energized and put into operation the "110kV Outgoing Project to Tan Uyen 220kV Station" (Tan Uyen town). With a total investment of VND 56 billion, when put into operation, the project will contribute to supplying power to the 110kV Khanh Binh and Khanh Van Transformer Stations; ensuring the grid operates safely and reliably in normal mode; meeting the load development needs of the area and increasing the reliability of providing safe and stable power to 110kV stations in Binh Duong province.
Previously, on December 29, the 110kV 02-circuit phase separation project 173 My Phuoc Hoa Thuan - Thoi Hoa - 176 My Phuoc (Ben Cat town) was also officially energized, contributing to increasing the transmission capacity on the existing line, meeting the power supply demand for the 110/22kV Hoa Thuan and Thoi Hoa transformer stations; increasing the reliability of power supply for 110kV transformer stations in the area.
In Can Tho City, on December 29, EVNSPC also energized the project to upgrade the 110kV Thot Not 2 - Thot Not line from 01 circuit to 02 circuits, to remove the T connection for the 110kV Thot Not substation (Thot Not district), ensuring safety in operation, stable power supply to Thoi Thuan and Long Xuyen stations, reducing power loss on the line.
In Hau Giang province, on December 28, EVNSPC also successfully energized the Tan Phu Thanh 110kV Transformer Station and connecting lines. When put into operation, the project will contribute to supplying electricity to the Tan Phu Thanh Industrial Park and neighboring loads in Chau Thanh A district.
Previously, on the evening of December 27, EVNSPC also organized the energization, completing phase 2 of the 110kV transmission line and 220kV transformer substation project in Vinh Chau (Soc Trang province). When put into operation, the project will contribute to increasing the power supply for 110kV transformer stations in the area such as Vinh Chau, My Xuyen, My Thanh, Hoa Tu. In particular, the project also contributes to receiving and releasing the capacity of wind power plants and solar power plants in Vinh Chau area.
