In 2025, Dong Nai province's socio-economic situation has achieved many positive results in all fields. The scale of GRDP reached nearly 678,000 billion VND, economic growth of 9.63% compared to 2024, exceeding the target assigned by the Government of 8.5%. With this result, Dong Nai is at the top of the country in terms of completion of the growth target assigned by the Government, and is ranked 7th in the country in terms of GRDP growth rate and continues to lead the Southeast region.
Total state budget revenue in 2025 is estimated at VND100,000 billion, reaching 134% of the assigned estimate. Domestic investment attraction reached over VND163,000 billion and FDI attraction reached over USD3 billion. Of which, 174 new projects with a total registered capital of 1.5 billion USD are granted; it is expected that by the end of 2025, the whole province will complete 4,208 social housing units, reaching 100% of the target assigned by the Prime Minister, contributing to the completion of the social security system, ensuring accommodation for workers and attracting workers to industrial parks.
Regarding the socio-economic development, national defense and security plan for 2026, Dong Nai province sets 36 targets for socio-economic development, national defense and security.
Regarding the state budget revenue and expenditure estimate, strive to reach VND100,400 billion and local budget expenditure VND58,778 billion. The 2026 public investment capital plan in the province is more than 27,000 billion VND.
