On May 19, the Department of Home Affairs of Dong Nai city said that so far the city has implemented 3 phases of receiving non-specialized personnel who are eligible to become civil servants with a number of more than 260 cases; at the same time, arranging them to work in wards and communes that are working or in neighboring wards and communes that are lacking civil servants according to their wishes.
Localities also compile lists of non-specialized personnel with appropriate expertise and send them to departments and branches of the city. Departments and branches, based on their qualifications, wish to receive them, then Dong Nai organizes testing and arranges them for work.
According to Deputy Director of Dong Nai City Department of Home Affairs Ha Thanh Tung, the city is still continuing to organize additional tests until the end of May 2026. Cases that do not meet the conditions to become civil servants will have solutions to arrange to become civil servants according to the Law on Civil Servants.
Over the past time, Dong Nai City has proactively and simultaneously implemented solutions, in addition to testing in the locality where they are working, there is also testing to transfer to neighboring localities and testing to become civil servants of departments and branches of the city.
In the coming time, the city will continue to test communes and wards that are lacking civil servants, when the city arranges neighborhoods, it will bring eligible cases to become Party cell secretaries, hamlet heads, and heads of hamlet Fatherland Front committees. If there is still surplus, it will be resolved according to Decree 154.
According to the regulations of the Central Government, non-specialized commune-level personnel must quit their jobs or be rearranged before May 31, 2026. Currently, agencies and units of Dong Nai have proactively reviewed to develop plans for arranging and assigning this team in accordance with practical work requirements.
