On October 19, the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Finance reported the investment performance results for the first 9 months of the year to the Ministry of Finance.
In the first 9 months of 2025, the province has received a total of 437 documents in the investment sector for handling. Of which, 262 documents on procedures for approving investment policies, issuing new Investment Registration Certificates (GCNDKT); 175 documents on adjusting investment policies, adjusting GCNDKT and other procedures.
Since the beginning of the year, the whole province has attracted 144 investment projects, with a total registered capital of more than 78,000 billion VND. Of which, there are 130 domestic investment projects with a total capital of more than VND 42,500 billion, and 14 foreign-invested (FDI) projects with a total capital of more than VND 35,400 billion (equivalent to USD 1.41 billion).
By field, there are 66 projects in the industrial sector; 20 construction - infrastructure projects; 17 commercial service - tourism projects; 40 agriculture - forestry - fishery projects and 1 real estate and urban economic project.
The province has also adjusted 142 projects, with a total increased investment capital of more than VND 6,552 billion; revoked and terminated 5 projects.
Most recently, on October 17, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province decided to approve the investment policy for the TRE - Dak Doa High-tech Agriculture project, and at the same time accept Tay Nguyen Energy Resources Technology Joint Stock Company as the investor to implement the project.
The project has a total investment of 1,675 billion VND, with a scale of more than 457 hectares, deployed in 3 communes of Dak Doa, KDang and Ia Bang. The project implementation period is from the third quarter of 2025 to the fourth quarter of 2029, with an operating period of 50 years.
The project aims to build a science and technology center to research and apply new technology in testing, production, incubation and technology transfer; at the same time, plant and propagate medicinal plants and fruit trees that apply high technology and provide post-harvesting, processing and product preservation services.
Previously, on October 15, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province approved the results of selecting investors to implement projects using land of the Cat Khanh Urban Area project in the Cat Khanh Seafood Processing Industrial Cluster. The winning investor was the Nam Mekong - Mekonghomes Joint Venture.
The project has a total investment of nearly 2,000 billion VND, with a scale of more than 41 hectares, built in De Gi commune. The project implementation period is 50 years from the date the investor is allocated land, leased land, or changes the land use purpose. Buyers of townhouses attached to land use rights are allowed to use them stably and permanently.
The project aims to build a new Cat Khanh urban area with diverse types of housing combined with trade and services, contributing to urban beautification and promoting local socio-economic development.
