According to the representative of Phap Van - Cau Gie BOT Joint Stock Company, March 3 is expected to be the peak day to welcome vehicles from the southern provinces back to Hanoi, ending the 5-day holiday.
It is expected that this expressway will serve more than 140,000 vehicles per day, equivalent to the traffic volume of the first two days of the holiday.
In order to ensure smooth traffic and minimize the risk of congestion, the exploitation operation unit has arranged working groups on duty 24/7, and coordinated with functional forces to divert vehicles and handle technical problems if they arise.
Previously, statistics showed that on April 29, the Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway served more than 120,000 vehicles. In particular, on the peak day of April 30, the traffic volume on the route reached nearly 150,000. As of May 2, this number ranges from 110,000 to 115,000 vehicles.
