AI doctor advises, real facility keeps unnamed
Recently, the use of social networks by beauty salons to advertise stem cell culture - technical services has not been licensed by the Ministry of Health, and is appearing everywhere and is difficult to verify. Among these, Chang Cosmetic Clinic (address 216 Ton Duc Thang, Hanoi) stands out with its "unique" promotion method, using an AI-powered "doctor" to consult on fat-bleeding and auto-fat stem cell culture services.
On many social networking platforms, self-proclaimed accounts "CW Endoscopic Aesthetic Institute - pure fat extraction, endoscopic chest raising" continuously posted videos and images created by AI to become a "doctor" wearing a blouse, speaking standard English, consulting on "AI Edotech technology", " endoscopic stem cell culture", " collagen increase"... The content affirmed that fat tissue after suction will be processed in the lab to separate, increase birth, and replant the body".
Despite the dense advertising, this establishment did not disclose the real address. Customers who want to use the service must text to get a consultation call. When the reporter booked a schedule, the location was Chang Cosmetic Clinic, a business household with the code 8608052366-001, which was completely different from the brand name of the CW brand being promoted.
On the first floor, the staff confirmed that "this is the CW Endoscopic Aesthetic Institute". When checking the service registration, the reporter was taken to the 2nd floor to meet a woman named Van (name changed) who claimed to be a "specialized doctor". This person immediately pointed out a series of shortcomings on customers' faces and advertised: "Getting fat stems next to you makes your face full. tight skin, collagen increases production. More effective than filler.
Van describes the method: removing the customer's belly fat, "separating fat stem cells", then planting it on the face. Its painless, just a small endoscopy wound, he reassured.
When the reporter was still hesitant, the person claiming to be Dr. Van gave an incentive: Whole face transplant for only 10 million VND, " sucked out of belly fat due to being promoted". The clinic staff closely follows customers from the consultation room to the elevator, using QR codes to request deposits to keep the incentives, urging them to close orders right at the beginning. The fact that a clinic has a Chang name sign but advertises under another name, uses unclear personnel, plus professional content is not included in the list of techniques allowed for implementation, has raised many questions about the legality.

Stem cell advertising is flourishing, many facilities are legally uncertain
Not only Chang Clinic, PV recorded a series of beauty spots in Hanoi also using the phrase "ative ethnic group" to attract customers, even though this service is not licensed by the Ministry of Health.
At 86 Nguyen Chanh, the social media account named Le Thuy has repeatedly introduced Valis Luxury Beauty beauty facility with the affirmation of "younger generations". But in reality, the location plate only says Valis Luxury Cosmetic Institute. The employee said that the "root ethnic" service here is a "self + contractility" mixture, with a total cost of 60 million VND.
At Moc Lan Epidemiological and Business Administration Clinic ( Mang Beauty), No. 11 B 2-3, Dam Trau area, PV was consulted on a package of animal-based stem cell injections, with 10 sessions. This is a product that has not been licensed by the Ministry of Health. The advertisements simultaneously target the psychology of wanting to quickly rejuvenate, "re-spring", with prices ranging from tens of millions to tens of millions of VND/session.
According to current law, all forms of advertising for health-related services must be confirmed by competent authorities; practitioners must have certificates; facilities must be licensed for technical services. Using an "AI doctor" for beauty consultation, especially autologous fat stem cell culture techniques, not only violates advertising but also causes serious confusion for customers.
Doctor Nguyen Thai Ha - Head of the Department of Stem Cell Technology Research and Application, Central Dermatology Hospital - commented that many types of stem cells on the market are currently "not scientifically verified, of unknown origin, which can cause consequences for users or unclear effectiveness but are very expensive". He warned: The Ministry of Health does not license cosmetic products made from human body cells. It is very dangerous for establishments to arbitrarily advertise, mix, and vaccinate against stem cells.
Although there is no legal framework for cell therapies in cosmetic surgery, many facilities still arbitrarily perform them, even creating virtual doctors to advise and borrow the names of techniques "inborn, AI technology, collagen increase" to attract customers. The loosening of control puts people at great risk: losses of money, facial damage, or unpredictable health complications.
