After many years of construction with many missed deadlines, the project to renovate and upgrade the road connecting Chu Trinh - Hong Nam commune (now Tan Giang ward - Kim Dong commune) is entering the final stage, with the goal of reaching the finish line in August 2025.
The project is invested by the Cao Bang Provincial Traffic Project Management Board, approved by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 895/QD-UBND dated May 30, 2021, with a length of nearly 14 km, a total investment of 120 billion VND. The expected implementation time is from 2021 to 2024, but until now it has entered 2025, but the project is still unfinished.
What the people here hope for is not only a new road, but an end to the days of living in dust, cramped and suffocated by the long construction.

On July 5, actual records showed that the road had formed the basic foundation, three bridges across the stream were under construction, and some sections had been paved with asphalt.
Some locations where workers are continuing to squeeze, drainage systems are also being deployed, and the slopes have mostly been handled.
Talking to reporters, the project investor representative said that the biggest problem in the past time was the site clearance stage that was resolved in June. If the weather is favorable, the project will be completed in August this year.

"I hope the sun is beautiful and we can finish it in August right away, it has been raining so much for nearly a month now that the construction has been interrupted" - the investor's representative added.

When completed, the route is expected to change the face of regional traffic, shortening travel time, replacing the previous narrow roundabout. Economic development is also expected to be better.
