According to Lao Dong's report on December 8, after 2 months of construction, the road repair project from IC12 intersection to Van Hoi (Tran Yen district) has been completely paved with asphalt, creating favorable conditions for people to travel.
Currently, workers and machines are actively constructing the sewer system along the route and road markings to ensure the project is completed on schedule.
The project to repair damaged roadbed, road surface, drainage system and traffic safety system from IC12 intersection to Van Hoi (Tran Yen district) is invested by the Road Maintenance Management Board of Yen Bai province with a total investment of nearly 20 billion VND.
The project started construction in October 2024, with Nam Phong Investment, Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company as the contractor.
Mr. Dao Xuan Manh (32 years old, Van Hoi, Tran Yen district) said that the most noticeable positive thing is that the road has become much less dusty.
"In the past, when it was sunny, the dust was flying everywhere, and when it rained, traveling was like a puzzle for people. To go to Yen Bai city, the route from Van Hoi to IC12 intersection was the fastest and most convenient. Currently, the road surface has been paved with asphalt, making it easier for people to travel and reducing dust," said Ms. Xuan.
Speaking with Lao Dong, a representative of the Yen Bai Province Road Maintenance Management Board said that the construction unit is urgently implementing the project to complete it in early 2025.
"Once completed, the route is expected to ensure traffic safety, improve operational efficiency and contribute to promoting local socio-economic development," the representative informed.
