This is a Group B project with a total investment of nearly 315 billion VND from the provincial budget; Song Cong city budget (before arrangement and merger) and other legal capital sources.

The project is invested by the Thai Nguyen Provincial Land Fund Development Center. The construction site is in Ba Xuyen commune, the old Song Cong city (now Ba Xuyen ward, Thai Nguyen province).

According to the investigation of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Land Fund Development Center has recently issued a notice of bidding for the project's "Construction and equipment installation" package.

The above package is in the construction sector, widely bid online, priced at more than 183 billion VND from the state budget.

In the coming time, after completing the contractor selection, the construction unit will build a resettlement area on a total area of 14.81 hectares, including items: needed ground leveling, roads, water supply and drainage, power supply, lighting, communication, trees, fire prevention and other items.

The project is invested with the goal of completing the technical infrastructure of the resettlement area to arrange resettlement for households whose land has been recovered to implement the project to soon stabilize people's lives, contribute to the development of regional infrastructure, and create conditions to promote local socio-economic development.

Phase 2 of the Song Cong 2 Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment, Construction and Business Project has a scale of nearly 300 hectares, including two areas: Area 1 in Bach Quang Ward with about 176 hectares, Area 2 in Ba Xuyen Ward with nearly 121 hectares.

In Ba Xuyen ward, there are about 670 households affected by the project, of which 165 households have to relocate.
