Mr. Thai Minh Chau - Director of Gia Lai Electricity said that due to the impact of storm No. 13, 679,000/9000 (69%) customers lost power; 497,000 (98%) customers in the east alone were affected.

On the morning of November 7, Gia Lai Power Company mobilized 400 local human resources, from the West to 60 more people, more than 40 specialized vehicles to lift and lift people to focus on overcoming the problem.

It is expected that by noon on November 7, power will be restored to the central area of Quy Nhon ward and hospital systems in the central area.

Also on November 7, the Central Power Corporation said that after storm No. 13 - Kalmaegi swept through, more than 1.6 million customers in this area had lost power.

By 7:00 a.m. on November 7, member companies of the Central Power Corporation recorded 427 incidents, causing medium-voltage power grids to be lost due to the impact of the storm. To date, 53 cases have been resolved, and 374 cases are still being handled.

Of the more than 1.6 million customers with power outages, the industry has restored to 315,000 customers. At the same time, 3,674 transformer stations out of a total of 18,722 power outage transformer stations have been restored.

In addition, there were 31 incidents on the 110kV power grid, causing power outages at many transformer stations. In Gia Lai, 13/30 stations were affected, including Quy Nhon, Long My, Van Canh, Nhon Hoi, Phuoc Son, Dong Da, Quy Nhon, Nhon Tan, Tay Son ports, Don Pho, An Khe, K'Bang, Krong Pa.

The eastern area of Gia Lai (old Binh Dinh) was almost completely without power in Gia Lai province, the area where the center of storm No. 13 swept through, and there was a widespread power outage.

Gia Lai Power Company informed that the whole province has nearly 680,000 customers without power due to the impact of storm Kalmaegi (storm No. 13,).

Of which, the eastern area of Gia Lai (old Binh Dinh province) had up to 497,000 households without power, equivalent to 98%. Gia Lai Power Company is mobilizing all forces and means with more than 40 working vehicles and 460 personnel to participate in fixing the power line problem.
