Phó Chủ tịch UBND tỉnh Gia Lai Nguyễn Hữu Quế yêu cầu Công ty Cổ phần Khu công nghiệp Sài Gòn - Bắc Giang (chủ đầu tư dự án điện gió Vân Canh) tích cực phối hợp với các sở, ngành chức năng để hoàn thiện hồ sơ thiết kế trình thẩm định; sớm hoàn tất thủ tục đền bù, giải phóng mặt bằng và các thủ tục về đất đai để tiến tới khởi công dự án. Theo Quy hoạch phát triển điện lực quốc gia thời kỳ 2021-2030, tầm nhìn đến năm 2050 (điều chỉnh Quy hoạch Điện VIII), tổng công suất các dự án năng lượng tái tạo trên địa bàn tỉnh Gia Lai dự kiến phát triển khoảng 9.657,1MW.
