Dak Nong - Gia Nghia City will implement a plan to fence off and temporarily ban vehicles from traveling through Ha Lake Bridge from May 15.

On May 12, the Dak Nong Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board (BQLDA) sent a report to the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches and Gia Nghia City People's Committee on the plan to fence off and divert traffic in the Ha Gia Nghia lake area.

It is expected that the fencing will start at 8:00 a.m. on May 15, 2025 and will last until December 31, 2025, when the construction items are completed according to the approved schedule.

The bridge over Ha Lake is an important item in the Gia Nghia City Central Square Project.

The project started construction at the end of December 2022. This project has encountered difficulties in land filling sources, leading to the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee agreeing to extend the completion time to 2025.

Currently, the Provincial People's Committee has granted a license to exploit Dak Nut B soil mine in Nghia Duc ward, helping the project have enough materials for construction.

According to information from the Dak Nong Provincial Management Board, to date, the bridge item has completed the construction of the foundation, bridge body, bridge deck and asphalt paving, reaching over 95% of the volume.

To complete the remaining volume and meet the general progress of the project, the Management Board has proposed that the authorities reorganize the barrier and temporarily ban vehicles from crossing the bridge.

Specialized agencies will implement traffic diversion measures to ensure the safety of people and vehicles.

During the barrier period, the traffic of vehicles in Gia Nghia City will be affected. The Management Board has requested the Provincial People's Committee, Gia Nghia City People's Committee and specialized agencies to support traffic regulation, especially during rush hour.
