Through the job transaction session held in the commune in early February 2026, Ms. Ma Thi Lien (Lam Binh commune, Tuyen Quang province) currently has a stable job at a leather and footwear export manufacturing enterprise in the province with significantly higher income than before.
Now working full-monthly, I also earn more than 8 million VND, compared to raising buffaloes and growing corn at home before, it is much higher. The important thing is stability, every month there is income. Both husband and wife go to work, and only at the end of the year will there be no poor households anymore," Ms. Lien shared.
Through job transaction sessions organized in communes, even to village areas, many rural and mountainous workers in Tuyen Quang province have had more job opportunities when connecting with employers and grasping market information.
In addition, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Employment Service and Historical Archive Center also promotes online job counseling and introduction activities to improve the effectiveness of connections between workers and businesses.

Job creation and stable income creation for workers, especially in rural and mountainous areas, are considered important factors contributing to reducing the poverty rate in the area.
In parallel with that, vocational training continues to be innovated and improved in quality to meet the actual needs of businesses and the labor market. Many occupations with high employment rates after training have been expanded for enrollment.
Mr. Tran Nhu Thanh - Head of Enrollment and Business Cooperation Department, Tuyen Quang College said that before opening vocational training classes, the unit has coordinated with communes and wards to review the needs of workers. At the same time, counseling and career guidance for secondary and high school students so that they can choose suitable vocational training.
We have strengthened links with recruitment and training units according to orders to increase the rate of students who have jobs immediately after graduation or develop the profession they have learned. Many students graduate with jobs, have immediate income or return to their localities to create jobs for themselves," Mr. Thanh informed.
According to data from the Department of Home Affairs of Tuyen Quang province, in 2025, the whole province created new jobs for 44,730/42,000 workers, reaching 106.5% of the plan.
Of which, 1,583 workers went to work abroad under contracts, and the rest worked in economic sectors in the province and in industrial zones and clusters in the country.
Currently, Tuyen Quang province continues to implement many new job creation solutions, focusing on reviewing the needs of workers, poor households, and near-poor households to develop connection plans and introduce suitable jobs.
According to local authorities, the fact that workers, especially poor households, have jobs and stable incomes is considered the key to sustainable poverty reduction.
In 2026, the province sets a target to reduce the multidimensional poverty rate from 3 - 4%, of which the poverty rate of ethnic minority households will decrease by an average of 4% or more.
