Water wells printed with Man's footprints
In President Ho Chi Minh's meaningful journey to visit Nam Chinh commune (now Tran Phu commune, Nam Sach district, Hai Duong province) on February 15, 1965, which was once the leading flag of the health care movement in the whole North - there is a deep memory that has been preserved intact for nearly 60 years. That is the well at Mr. Vuong Thi Trinh's house in An Thuong village (Tran Phu commune, Nam Sach district, Hai Duong province).
This is the place that Uncle Ho visited, leaving an impression not only in his image but also in his profound lesson in maintaining hygiene, a clean and orderly lifestyle in each family.
Currently, the well is still in its old location, next to a sign "The well where Uncle Ho visited, February 15, 1965" is solemnly attached. According to Mr. Trinh, at that time, he was only 22 years old and was assigned to wait for Uncle Ho in the commune, so he was not present at home. Hearing the news that Uncle Ho suddenly came to visit, he could not hide his regret.

However, his mother and sisters were still lucky to welcome him, and heard instructions about living and cleaning the family.
In the simple small house of Mr. Trinh's family, many valuable photos of the visit that year are still carefully preserved. One of the photos that moved his children and grandchildren the most was the moment he stood next to the well, pointing his hand down to the well as a gesture of inspection and consideration.
Sharing with Lao Dong, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh - Mr. Trinh's daughter said: "Among the photos kept, there is a photo of Uncle Ho pointing to the well. I wondered to my mother and was told by her that at that time, Uncle Ho asked: Is it always clean like this in my grandchild's house? Did you know that Uncle Ho would come to clean up? My family replied: Sir, my family is always clean like that. He smiled, praised and advised me to promote it.
As a gentle reminder
Remembering Uncle Trinh's words, for many years his family has always maintained a clean and orderly lifestyle. Even though there is a tap water system, that well is still not forgotten.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh said: "Once my family rebuilt the yard, and intended to fill the well for convenience, but when discussing it, everyone thought it was not a good thing. This is a great memory for Uncle Ho, a sacred mark that must be kept. Therefore, the small well is still preserved in its original state, a vivid witness to the noble memory of a time when Uncle Ho visited.

Today, although Mr. Trinh is 82 years old, his health is declining, and his memory is no longer as clear as before, every time he mentions the well or President Ho Chi Minh, his eyes light up with pride. Mrs. Minh and her children and grandchildren often tell the next generation about that memorable memory, considering it a vivid moral lesson about patriotism, a simple lifestyle and environmental protection.
Not only has it spiritual value for Mr. Trinh's family, this well is also a destination for the people of Nam Chinh commune and tourists from near and far; every year, on February 15 - Uncle Ho's visit to Nam Chinh commune, Uncle Ho's birthday May 19 or National Day September 2, local organizations and authorities in Hai Duong province organize incense offerings to commemorate him.
generations of students and young people are also organized to visit and study here to educate revolutionary traditions, gratitude and pride in the beloved leader of the nation.

The story of the well that he once visited is not simply a memory, but has become a vivid symbol of the spirit of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
In modern life today, the image of a simple ancient well in the middle of the yard - a place associated with Uncle Ho's compliments and instructions on maintaining hygiene - is still present as a gentle but profound reminder of personality, lifestyle, and civic responsibility.
