Hanoi is about to have a new 2.7km long, 4-lane road

The Hanoi People's Committee has just approved a new route connecting National Highway 32 through Cong Bridge to the National Highway 32 bypass in Son Tay Ward.

Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan has just signed and issued Decision No. 4691 on Approving the route plan and location from National Highway 32 through Cong Bridge to National Highway 32 bypass, scale 1/500 in Son Tay Ward.

According to the approved plan, the route is about 2.7 km long, starting from the intersection with National Highway 32 and ending at the intersection with the National Highway 32 bypass (from Military Medical Institute 105 to Vinh Thinh Bridge).

The route is identified as the main road of the area, with a typical cross-section of 35m wide, including a 4-lane roadway (2 x 7.5m); sidewalks on both sides, each side is 7.5m wide; the median strip according to the detailed design during the investment project establishment stage. The route is determined on the basis of compliance with approved Planning.

The planning road center passing through points 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 is determined by coordinates, combined with technical specifications, control factors and shown directly on the drawing.

The points 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 are the points of change direction, as a basis for determining the planning route. Red line boundaries are determined from the road center, cross-section and technical factors, shown on the drawing. The intersections will be organized to intersect with existing routes and planned roads in the area.

The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Planning and Architecture to confirm the route plan dossier in accordance with this decision; at the same time, the Son Tay Ward People's Committee was assigned to preside over the public announcement of the dossier, organize the placement of road boundary markers and carry out planning management and handle violations if any.
