In order to implement the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch No. 155/CD-TTg on extending the time of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of National Day, in Official Dispatch No. 4945/UBND-KGVX dated September 4, 2025 of the City People's Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh directed as follows:
Assign the Departments and branches: Culture and Sports, Tourism, Health, Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Environment, Construction, Science and Technology, Finance, City Police, Hanoi Institute for Socio-Economic Development Research and Hanoi Power Corporation (EVN Hanoi) to urgently organize the implementation of extending the Exhibition's service period to September 15, 2025, ensuring compliance with the Prime Minister's request in Official Dispatch No. 155/CD-TTg.
At the same time, review and propose additional funding for performing emergency tasks (if necessary), report to the City People's Committee (through the Department of Finance) for consideration and direction according to regulations.
The Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the units assigned to take the task seriously, focus on implementation, create conditions for people to have more time to visit and experience activities and events at the Exhibition; proactively handle the contents under their authority; promptly report to the City People's Committee (through the Department of Culture and Sports) the results, propose solutions for difficulties and problems beyond their authority (if any).
The City People's Committee assigned the City Police to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Construction and related units to develop and organize a plan to direct traffic, regulate traffic, and prevent congestion in the Exhibition area and neighboring areas. Arrange forces to patrol, control, and handle violations promptly. Ensuring security, order, and traffic safety for people and visitors participating in the Exhibition.
The media agencies: Hanoi Radio and Television Station, Hanh Do Mai Newspaper in coordination with the City Police and the Department of Construction will step up propaganda and dissemination of laws on traffic order and safety. Mobilizing people to raise awareness of compliance. Absolutely do not obstruct traffic, ensure the Exhibition activities run safely and smoothly.
