The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has just held a meeting to discuss opinions on considering and proposing the planning of a number of new residential areas in the province.
At the meeting, the Department of Construction reported on the Project to Adjust the detailed planning of the New Urban Area in the South of Hai Duong City - Sub-zone 2, scale 1/500 (adjusted for the third time).
According to the report of the Department of Construction, the adjustment of the detailed planning of the Southern Urban Area of Hai Duong City is to comply with the approved superior urban planning and to comply with the implementation of the national key project (220kV power line); avoid overlap between projects; supplement planning indicators according to construction planning standards, ensure feasibility and convenience in implementing projects according to the plan and improve land use efficiency. At the same time, it creates conditions for people to access and conveniently use concentrated green areas, improving the effectiveness of serving the community.
The Department of Construction proposed to adjust and add some additional locations for the construction of BTS stations according to the agreement of the Department of Information and Communications. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau basically agreed with the Project to Adjust the detailed planning of the New Urban Area in the South of Hai Duong City - Sub-zone 2) reported by the Department of Construction.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to coordinate with the Department of Finance and relevant agencies to review the effectiveness of planning adjustments, determine financial obligations of investors, and ensure no loss of state budget.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau also assigned the Provincial People's Committee Office and the Department of Construction to review and advise the report to the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee's Personnel Committee on the above project to report to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. In particular, the project needs to supplement and adjust the administrative boundaries to suit the new administrative boundaries of the province after the arrangement and merger of commune-level administrative units.
Also at the meeting, leaders and members of the Provincial People's Committee listened to and gave opinions on the report of the Detailed Planning Project for the construction of the new residential area of Cam Dong commune, Cam Giang district, at a scale of 1/500 and reported on the Detailed Planning Project for the construction of the new residential area of Quoc Tuan Nam, WB road to An Binh commune, at a scale of 1/500.
Of which, the total area for research on planning the construction of a new residential area in Cam Dong commune, Cam Giang district is 27.09 hectares, with an estimated population of about 1,800 people. The planning will create a new residential area with modern architecture, synchronous technical infrastructure, contributing to improving the conditions and living environment of people in the area.
