Ca Mau - Two drowning incidents have resulted in the death of two children, one of whom was taken care of by his parents and grandparents to work as a worker.

On the afternoon of October 28, a leader of the People's Committee of Khanh Hung commune, Ca Mau province, said that a boy had just died from drowning in the area.

"Khanh Hung commune has established a group to visit, support and encourage the family of a boy who unfortunately died from drowning early to overcome the pain to stabilize his life," he added.

According to initial information, due to difficult family circumstances, V.H.A's parents (2 years old, living in Khanh Hung commune) sent the child to their grandparents to take care of to Dong Nai to work as a worker.

At around 9am on October 27, A's grandparents could not find him anywhere so they searched everywhere. After that, baby A was found dead in a ditch near her home.

The family determined that A died from drowning, so they asked him not to conduct an autopsy and asked to accept his body to take care of his funeral according to local customs.

Previously, on the afternoon of October 26, in Cai Nuoc commune, Ca Mau province, a drowning incident also occurred, killing D.T.N (3 years old).
