On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), National Day September 2 (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and Traditional Day of the People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), Nhan Dan Newspaper in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Security organized the program "Marching with Vietnam".
The "Marching Along with Vietnam" program is organized simultaneously in 34 provinces and cities with 3,321 communes, wards and special administrative areas nationwide.
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper in Thanh Hoa, at exactly 6:00 a.m. on August 16, a walking activity took place at Lam Son Square (Hac Thanh Ward). Despite the rainy weather, the event still attracted thousands of delegates, cadres, soldiers of the armed forces, civil servants, public employees, youth, students and a large number of people to enthusiastically participate in the program.
In addition, all remaining communes and wards in the province also responded on foot with hundreds of people each place, contributing to realizing the goal of organizing the event "1 billion steps forward to the new era".
The program "Marching forward with Vietnam" continues to promote patriotism, the tradition of solidarity, and multiplying the development aspirations of the Vietnamese people; spreading the belief, pride and will to rise up strongly in the whole society, practically celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), while promoting the movement of All People's Protection of National Security.
Marching forward with Vietnam also contributes to mobilizing and encouraging resources to promote the movement All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho, Health to build and protect the Fatherland, build walking habits, reduce carbon emissions, and protect the environment.
