On July 8, information from Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) said about the implementation of component project 3 - part of Long Thanh International Airport project phase 1 (abbreviated as Long Thanh airport).
In particular, for package 4.9, construction of the fuel supply system, up to now, the consortium of contractors has mobilized nearly 465 personnel and more than 80 construction machinery and equipment to speed up the progress.
To ensure the timely handover of the underground pipeline in the bean sprout area according to the plan, the contractor has organized 13/14 simultaneous construction teams, distributed throughout the bean sprout area.
At the same time, other items are also being actively implemented, including: construction of valve holes, excavation of pipeline soil, construction of fuel tank foundations, construction of fuel tank installation, construction of houses and auxiliary works, rainwater drainage systems and landscape roads. The total value of the volume to date has reached about 1,016 billion VND.
Package 4.9, the fuel supply system for the construction contractor is a consortium of Vietnam Oil and Gas Technical Services Corporation - BCA - Thang Long One Member Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as: PTSC - BCA TL consortium); Contract value is over VND 2,880 billion.
The Long Thanh airport component project 3 has a total investment of more than VND 99,000 billion, including 14 packages. Up to now, 3 packages have been completed, 9 packages are under construction, the remaining 2 packages are about to select contractors. At the current construction site, the units are still maintaining the construction progress with hundreds of deployment teams, mobilizing nearly 13,000 experts, engineers, workers, laborers and nearly 3,000 construction equipment to speed up the progress with the goal of basically completing the project by the end of 2025, putting it into operation and commercial exploitation in the first half of 2026 in accordance with the Prime Minister's request.
