The Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh Expressway expansion project has a total investment of more than VND 16,386 billion, the project implementation period is from 2025 to 2027.
Expanding the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh expressway to 8-10 lanes, connecting Long Thanh airport, will shorten time, reduce transportation costs, and make it easier for people to travel from Ho Chi Minh City to Long Thanh airport and vice versa.
Why is this an emergency project?
Because Long Thanh airport is about to be completed, the connecting routes from Ho Chi Minh City to the airport are still unfinished.
The Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh Expressway is the main route connecting Ho Chi Minh City to Long Thanh Airport, but currently, this route is too risky.
