As of 9:00 a.m. on July 7, the functional forces of Phu Tho Hoa ward were still coordinating with the Ho Chi Minh City Police to block off the scene of the fire on Do Doc Long street, killing 8 people (including 2 children). Power workers are on duty to repair the power.
According to the reporter, inside the scene, a burned car and dozens of bicycles were left with exposed iron frames.







Initial information, the fire broke out at around 9:30 p.m. on July 6, at Doc Lap Clinic (5 floors), address in alley 80, Do Doc Long Street, Phu Tho Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The fire area on the ground floor of the apartment building.
The fire killed 8 people. Ms. T.T at the scene shared: "The fire broke out strongly, accompanied by many explosions, many people pulled the water hoses, tried to approach but outside there were many layers of iron doors...".
Another witness also added that when a fire broke out, the smoke was so thick that they could only rush in to save people. The fire started from the ground floor.



On the morning of July 7, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc directly went to the scene of the fire at Doc Lap residence that killed 8 people.
Here, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc and the working delegation visited, encouraged and provided initial emergency support to the victims' families.


Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc also surveyed the scene of the fire, directing the authorities to urgently investigate and clarify the cause of the fire. At the same time, verify the responsibilities of relevant organizations and individuals.


In response to the heartbreaking incident, the City People's Committee has sent its deepest condolences to the relatives of the families in distress. This is an irreparable loss, leaving great pain not only for the family but also for the entire community and the city government. The city's leaders have directed relevant agencies and departments to promptly visit and support the victims' families.
