The intersection with Hanoi Highway has been completed. Thereby, the 3km long route officially connects smoothly from National Highway 1K to Hanoi Highway and the new Mien Dong Bus Station.
Previously, this road only had 2 small and narrow lanes, now it has been invested in and expanded to 32m with 6 lanes. The road is fully invested in a drainage system, sidewalks, trees, and lighting.
The East-West main road is being considered the most beautiful road in Dong Hoa ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The road is winding through high and low terrain. This area also has trees, lakes and is adjacent to Ho Chi Minh City National University.

Notably, in recent years, real estate developers have also come here to develop housing, commercial, and service projects, making the route even more bustling and vibrant.
The apartments on both sides of the road are built with nearly 10,000 apartments. Currently, about 5,000 apartments have been completed, attracting many people to live here.
Dong Hoa Ward People's Committee said that recently, the locality has been speeding up the site clearance progress for a number of infrastructure projects, including branch routes connecting to the East-West Main Axis. Dong Hoa ward is gradually developing traffic and urban areas in this area to be more beautiful and livable.
