The investment project to build axis routes connecting to functional areas in Thai Binh Economic Zone (Hung Yen province) includes 5 routes with a total investment of more than 3,000 billion VND.
In particular, route No. 1 invests in the construction of a level III road in the north of the Economic Zone through Lien Ha Thai Industrial - Service Park with a length of 3.73km; the scale of a level III plain road. Route No. 2 connects from National Highway 37B and Thai Thuong port area, industrial service area with a length of 0.97km.

Route No. 3 will build an axis road south of the Economic Zone from the coastal road to National Highway 37B with a length of 13.07km; the scale of geological factors according to the orientation standards of the expressway, design speed of 100km/h, cross-section of the level II plain road.
route No. 4 from Thai Binh coastal road to Ba Lat port area with a length of 2.02km; scale of regional main roads, industrial park main roads, design speed of 50km/h. Route No. 5 upgrades and renovates the central axis road south of Tra Ly River (DT.464 road) from Tay Luong commune to Dong Xuyen commune, Tien Hai district, the old Thai Binh province (now Tien Hai commune to Dong Tien Hai commune, the new Hung Yen province) with a length of 6.34km; scale of a level IV plain road.



According to the Management Board of the Hung Yen Province No. 2 Construction Investment Project, the Investment Project for the construction of axis routes connecting to functional areas in Thai Binh Economic Zone has 4 routes under implementation, all of which are facing problems in terms of land, affecting progress. The main difficulties are related to interleaved land, technical infrastructure, land origin verification... Along with that is the shortage of filling materials, high prices.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Vinh - Deputy Director of the Management Board of Construction Investment Project No. 2 of Hung Yen province - said that the management board has coordinated with localities, focusing on removing obstacles, urging contractors to mobilize human resources, vehicles, and materials to speed up progress, ensure quality, labor safety and environmental sanitation during the construction process.
In addition, it is recommended that the Provincial People's Committee pay attention to directing the authorities of communes in the project area to focus on speeding up the site clearance progress so as not to affect or interrupt construction.
It is known that the axis road connecting with functional areas in Thai Binh Economic Zone, when completed, will play an important role in connecting industrial parks, promoting investment attraction, and creating momentum for socio-economic development.
