Ha Tinh - On the afternoon of November 3, Ke Go Lake continued to regulate to reduce overflow to 200m3/s, so the downstream water receded further, and the number of flooded houses continued to decrease.

According to the report of the Standing Office of the Ha Tinh Command for Natural Disaster Prevention, as of noon on November 3, the whole province still had 3,849 flooded households (a decrease of 1,528 households compared to the highest flooding time of 5,377 households at 7:00 a.m. on the same day).

Of which, Cam Due commune still has 1,325 households (reduced by 1,525 households); Cam Binh 2,072 households; Ha Linh 6 households; Cam Xuyen 227 households; Ha Huy Tap 216 households; Dong Tien 3 households; some inter-village and inter-commune roads are still partially flooded.

Affected by flooding, on November 3, the whole province of Ha Tinh had 34 676 educational institutions with 18,464 students having to take a day off.

Cleaning and overcoming the consequences of floods is being carried out in the spirit of "wherever the water recedes, clear the mud".

Mr. Tran Van Than (85 years old, residing in Thong Nhat village, Cam Due commune) said that on November 2, floodwaters 50cm inundated his house. Currently, the water has receded from the house, only flooding the yard.

"The water is still gradually receding. Hopefully, by the end of today, I will withdraw all of my yard and garden as well as many other households here. ", Mr. Than shared.
