The largest hydropower reservoir in the South discharges downstream with a total flow rate of 528m3/s

Dong Nai - The total discharge flow to the downstream of Tri An hydropower reservoir on the morning of August 19 was 528 m3/s.

According to Tri An Hydropower Company, as of 7:00 AM on August 19, the water flow to Tri An reservoir is reaching 980m3/s, raising the reservoir water level to nearly 54.2m, the total discharge flow to downstream is 528m3/s, and the downstream water level is 3.1 m.

Previously, electricity output on August 18 at Tri An Hydropower Company reached more than 5.5 million kWh.

Tri An Hydropower Plant has 4 units, with a total designed capacity of 400MW. This is the largest hydropower project in the Southern region, making a great contribution to the national power grid, helping to regulate domestic water sources, production, push saline and regulate floods for the downstream area.

The downstream area of Tri An hydropower plant is an area located along the Dong Nai River basin, passing through Dong Nai City, Ho Chi Minh City.
