First of all, it is necessary to collect statistics and survey each household, consider actual conditions and specific wishes to ensure support for the right people, the right needs, avoid missing or overlapping. Propaganda work is carried out regularly, through the system of the Front, local governments, unions and press channels, helping to spread the meaning of the program and create widespread response in the community.
The Front at all levels has also mobilized social resources, mobilized businesses, religious organizations and people to join hands to contribute to the Fund for the Poor. During the construction process, monitoring teams from the province to the facility monitored the selection of contractors, material quality, construction progress to acceptance and handover. Thanks to the close attention of the Party Committee, government and the Front, each completed house is of guaranteed quality, creating trust and excitement for the people.
With continuous efforts and a high sense of responsibility for the poor, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of Can Tho City and Soc Trang Province and individuals have been awarded certificates of merit by the Prime Minister for their outstanding achievements in the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

Towards supporting livelihoods and sustainable poverty reduction
The Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City said that in addition to the achievements, there are still many difficulties and challenges that need to be addressed. The number of poor households, near-poor households and families in especially difficult circumstances still exists. Therefore, the Front system continues to effectively promote campaigns and patriotic emulation movements, increase propaganda and mobilize social resources to practically care for the poor and disadvantaged.
At the same time, it is necessary to improve the quality of supervision and social criticism, ensuring that support policies are implemented to the right people and at the right times. Not only supporting housing, orienting livelihoods, supporting people to access digital transformation and applying advanced production models is also extremely important, to help them stabilize and improve their quality of life.
