In particular, the only road from Nong Cong commune to Mau Lam commune has 2 deeply flooded points, traffic cannot pass through, causing Khe Sinh and Phu Son villages (Mau Lam commune) to be completely isolated.
"Currently, Phu Son village has 273 households with 1,017 people, Khe Sinh village has 136 households with 486 people who are isolated and cannot travel. In addition, all crops and rice of the two villages were also deeply submerged in water. To ensure the safety of the people, the commune has set up checkpoints and assigned forces to be on duty 24/7 to respond to possible situations" - the representative of Mau Lam commune informed.
