Of which, the Loc Tien Resettlement Area Project - Phase 2 ( Chan May Commune - Lang Co) has an area of 12.65 hectares, with a total investment of more than 251 billion VND, invested by the Management Board of the Economic and Industrial Zone Construction Investment Project.
Resettlement area No. 1 in Phu Da resettlement area (Phu Vang commune) has an area of 4.9 hectares, divided into 89 plots of land, including 30 plots with an area of 130m2 to less than 200m2, and 59 plots from 200m2 to 300m2. The project has a total investment of nearly 44 billion VND, with the Investment and Construction Project Management Board of Area 3 as the investor.
Hue City also started the project to build Phong Hien People's Cemetery (Phong Thai Ward), with an area of 2.5 hectares and a total investment of more than 9 billion VND, invested by the Investment and Construction Project Management Board of Area 2.
The projects aim to complete synchronous technical infrastructure, serving resettlement for households affected by site clearance for the high-speed railway project through the area.
The North-South high-speed railway project is a national key transport project, with a total length of about 95.05km passing through Hue city, from Phong Dinh ward (adjacent to Quang Tri) to Chan May - Lang Co commune (adjacent to Da Nang city).
The route passes through 12 communes and wards, affecting about 1,255 hectares, with more than 8,500 households affected, of which about 1,600 households need to be resettled, and more than 10,500 graves need to be relocated.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of Hue City agreed to invest in 23 resettlement areas, with a total area of about 66 hectares and 4 cemeteries, with a total area of 6 hectares, with a total estimated cost of about 1,500 billion VND.
On the route, there is 1 Phu My passenger station (Phu Thuong ward) with an area of about 367 hectares and 1 potential Chan May station ( Chan May - Lang Co commune).
