Mobilizing 50 people to put out the forest fire in Quang Tri

    Quang Tri - The fire occurred in the production forest and forest in Cam Hong commune. As of early afternoon on July 7, the commune was still mobilizing people to put out the fire.

    On July 7, the People's Committee of Cam Hong commune (Quang Tri province) said that a fire had just occurred in a production forest and forest managed by the commune government.

    By 2:00 p.m. the same day, the fire had not been extinguished. According to the People's Committee of Cam Hong commune, the area of forest burned has not been determined, initially recorded as mainly burnt wild grass.

    As soon as the news was received, the Commune People's Committee mobilized about 50 people including commune officials, civil servants, the Military Command, the commune police force and local people to participate in extinguishing the fire, preventing the fire from spreading.
