On the afternoon of January 28, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen signed decisions to issue urgent construction orders to handle serious landslides and damage on National Highways 20, 27, 27C and National Highway 28.

These are roads heavily affected by natural disasters at the end of 2025.
According to the decision, the Department of Construction is assigned to urgently repair the section from Km43+500 to Km60+000 on National Highway 28 with a total cost of about 70 billion VND, implemented in 2026.
At this section of the route, the negative taluy is deeply landslide, the roadbed is seriously deformed, posing a risk of traffic unsafety.

In addition, this area has many sharp curves, so it is necessary to handle them comprehensively with technical solutions such as building concrete embankments, expanding the roadbed, and reinforcing the positive and negative taluy.
Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requests relevant units to synchronously apply technical measures, including building reinforced concrete embankments, rock gable embankments, expanding the route towards the positive taluy, handling subsidence and cracking locations, and replacing damaged guardrail systems.
Along with that, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee also issued an emergency construction order for National Highway 20 section through Da Lat with a budget of 10 billion VND; National Highway 27 section through Don Duong bridge with a budget of 2.5 billion VND and National Highway 27C with a budget of 18 billion VND.

Items focus on handling taluy landslides, restoring road surface and completing drainage systems.
The issuance of an emergency construction order aims to soon overcome the consequences of natural disasters, ensure smooth traffic, and limit the risk of unsafety on national highways through Lam Dong province before, during and after the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year.
