Khanh Son Forest Protection Department, Khanh Hoa province has just issued a notice on the handover and transfer of timber to agencies and units that need to use it to build headquarters, form machinery and equipment for state agencies, and build public works serving people's livelihoods.
Based on Circular 26/2025/TT-BNNMT and documents amending and supplementing Circular 84/2025/TT-BNNMT of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, confiscated forest products that have been established for all people's ownership will be considered for transfer to agencies and units that need to use them.
Accordingly, the unit is developing a plan to handle 0.770m3 of Gie wood, of ordinary type, with all-people ownership established on April 2, 2026 to submit to competent authorities for approval.
Similarly, Bac Ai Forest Protection Department proposed to handle 0.496m3 of round timber and 0.230m3 of sawn timber. The total volume of timber transferred is 0.726m3, including 30 logs, mainly Dau (Dipterocarpus sp) timber, with common diameters from 18–30cm.
In addition, Ninh Hoa Forest Protection Department plans to transfer a total of 1.375m3 of various types of timber (including 0.845m3 of round timber, Ké and 0.530m3 of sawn timber, mainly Săng trắng, Giẻ đỏ).
Ninh Son Forest Protection Department also developed a plan to handle 1,026m3 of round timber, mainly Cam xe and Ca chi, with diameters from 10-14cm and lengths from 2.4m-3m.
Units that need to receive confiscated timber assets send registration documents according to Form No. 23 (Appendix II) issued together with Circular 26/2025/TT-BNNMT, which clearly states the quantity, volume, and type of timber.
At the same time, requesting the receiving agency to commit to using it for the right purpose and be responsible before the law if property loss occurs.
The deadline for registration and receipt for Khanh Son Forest Protection Department is before April 13; Bac Ai Forest Protection Department before April 16; Ninh Son Forest Protection Department before April 17 and Ninh Hoa Forest Protection Department is before April 21.
