The project has a total investment of more than 9 billion VND, started construction in July 2022, and was inaugurated in phase 1 in August 2023. Then continued to call for investment in phase 2, which has now been completed.
The project was built on the basis of preserving the current status of the Martyrs' Temple in Ke Go Lake (Cam Xuyen, Ha Tinh) and expanded with a total area of about 5,000m2.

These works mark the feats and silent sacrifices of cadres, soldiers, youth volunteers and local people.
During the resistance war against the US, the Ke Go lake area was a fierce battlefield. Here, our army has built the Libi battlefield airport and routes 21 and 22 in a secret plan to create a new traffic artery to support the Southern battlefield.
At Libi airport, fierce airstrikes by the US air force took place on the morning of September 2, 1968 and the night of January 7, 1973, killing many soldiers and defense workers and completely destroying Libi Airport.
Peace was restored, in 1976, the State deployed the construction of Ke Go lake project to promote agricultural development. Ke Go Lake has completed and started to accumulate water, the old frontage is gradually sinking into the lake.
In recent years, the search, collection of remains and identification of martyrs' remains have been carried out by the Provincial Military Command in coordination with local authorities. Up to now, a list of 62 martyrs who died in the Ke Go lake area has been temporarily prepared.

In 2011, the Ke Go Nature Reserve Management Board and organizations, units, and philanthropists set up a small shrine to burn incense for the martyrs who sacrificed in the lake.
To pay tribute to the heroic martyrs, VietnamFinance Financial Investment Magazine coordinated with the Ke Go Nature Reserve Management Board to call on sponsors to support the construction of the Heroic Martyrs' Temple at Ke Go Lake.
At the overall inauguration ceremony, the Organizing Committee reviewed the tragic and heroic history of the Heroic Martyrs Temple at Ke Go Lake.
Especially the feats and silent sacrifices of cadres, soldiers, youth volunteer forces and local people in the front of the Libi airport and the 21st and 22nd routes in the resistance war against the US to save the country.
